Terms of Service
Effective date: August 26, 2026
These terms govern your use of the Boleto app and getboleto.com (together, “Boleto” or “the service”), operated by Boleto (“we”). By creating an account or using the service, you agree to them.
What Boleto is — and isn’t
Boleto is a concert tracker: a place to keep the shows you have tickets to, share them with friends, and keep a record of the shows you’ve attended.
Boleto does not sell, issue, resell, or broker tickets. Ticket purchases happen entirely on third-party platforms under their own terms. Show information in Boleto (dates, times, venues, lineups) is provided for convenience and can change or contain errors — always confirm details with the venue or your ticketer.
Your account
- You must be at least 13 years old to use Boleto.
- Sign-in is through Apple or Google. You’re responsible for activity on your account.
- Provide accurate information and don’t impersonate anyone.
Your content
You own what you add to Boleto — your photos, notes, ratings, and comments. You give us the limited license needed to host, store, and display that content within the service, according to your sharing settings. That license ends when you delete the content or your account.
Don’t post content that is unlawful, infringing, abusive, or that you don’t have the right to share. There is no tolerance for objectionable content or abusive behavior on Boleto: we may remove any content and suspend or terminate any account, at any time, for crossing these lines.
Acceptable use
- Don’t interfere with or disrupt the service.
- Don’t scrape, harvest, or bulk-extract data from the service.
- Don’t attempt to access accounts or data that aren’t yours.
Other users
Boleto is built for sharing with people you already know. We don’t verify anyone’s identity, and you’re responsible for your interactions with other users. Ticket-holding links record who says they hold a ticket for whom — they are a shared note between friends, not a guarantee that a ticket exists, is valid, or will be delivered. Disputes between users are between those users; you release Boleto from claims arising out of them.
Boleto’s property
The Boleto name, logo, app, and site are ours. These terms don’t grant you any right to use them outside the service. You may not scrape, copy, or reuse the service’s catalog or content outside the app, or reverse-engineer the service.
Changes to the service
Boleto is young and evolving. We may add, change, suspend, or discontinue features — or the service itself — and will try to give notice when a change meaningfully affects you.
The App Store
The app is distributed through Apple’s App Store, and Apple requires us to tell you the following: these terms are between you and Boleto, not Apple, and Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for the app. If the app fails to conform to an applicable warranty, Apple’s only obligation is to refund what you paid for it (the app is free). Apple is not responsible for other claims relating to the app — including product liability, legal or regulatory compliance, consumer protection, and intellectual-property claims — which are governed by these terms. You represent that you are not located in a country subject to a U.S. Government embargo and are not on any U.S. Government list of prohibited or restricted parties. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and may enforce them against you.
Ending things
You can delete your account at any time in the app’s settings. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. Sections that by their nature should survive (like content licenses you’ve already exercised, disclaimers, and liability limits) survive termination.
Disclaimers
Boleto is provided “as is,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We don’t warrant that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that show information is accurate or complete.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for lost profits or data, arising from your use of the service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to one hundred US dollars ($100).
Indemnity
If your content or your use of the service causes a third party to bring a claim against Boleto, you agree to cover the damages, losses, and reasonable costs (including legal fees) that result from it.
Copyright complaints
If you believe content on Boleto infringes your copyright, email getboleto@gmail.com with: identification of the work, where the infringing material appears, your contact information, a statement that you believe in good faith the use is unauthorized, and a statement, under penalty of perjury, that you are the owner or authorized to act for them. We remove infringing content, and accounts that repeatedly infringe are terminated. If your content was removed by mistake, reply to the removal notice and we’ll review it.
Disputes and arbitration
If something goes wrong, talk to us first — email getboleto@gmail.com and we’ll try in good faith to resolve it within 30 days.
If that fails, any dispute arising from these terms or the service will be resolved by binding arbitration in New York, New York, before a single arbitrator under the JAMS Streamlined Arbitration Rules, rather than in court. You and Boleto each waive the right to a jury trial, and each agree that disputes may only be brought individually — not as a plaintiff or class member in any class or representative action. If the class-action waiver is found unenforceable, this arbitration section does not apply.
Two carve-outs: either side may bring an individual claim in small-claims court, and either side may seek injunctive relief in court for intellectual-property infringement.
You can opt out of this arbitration section within 30 days of first accepting these terms by emailing getboleto@gmail.com with your name and a clear statement that you opt out of arbitration.
Changes to these terms
If these terms change, the new version is posted here with an updated effective date. Meaningful changes will be called out in the app or by email. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Disputes not subject to arbitration belong in the state or federal courts of New York.
Miscellaneous
If a provision of these terms is unenforceable, it’s limited to the minimum extent necessary and the rest stands. Our not enforcing a provision isn’t a waiver of it. You may not assign your account or these terms; we may assign them in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale. These terms are the entire agreement between you and Boleto about the service.
